Pokémon TCG Summer Holiday Session (Ages 11-16)

Join us for an action‑packed Pokémon TCG session designed for young Trainers of all experience levels - whether you're brand new to the game or already building competitive decks.

This session is all about energy, creativity, and community. Throughout the afternoon, players can participate in:

Battle Tables - Structured TCG battle areas for friendly matches and mini‑deck battles.
Gym Leader Challenge - Test your mettle against our very own Elite 4.
Trading Tables - Supervised spaces to safely trade cards and grow your collection.
Pokémon Centre (Guidance & Restoration Station) - Get support with rules, strategy tips, and deck advice. You can also learn how to restore lightly damaged cards.
Pokémon Painting, Sticker Making & Creative Corner - Take a break from battling and get artistic.
Show & Tell & Memorabilia - Bring along your favourite cards, graded slabs, or Pokémon treasures to share with the group.
Detective Pikachu Mystery Hunt - Help Detective Pikachu crack a case by following clues, gathering evidence, and solving a Pokémon mystery hidden around the venue.
Retro Cinema - Back by popular demand. Kick back and relax while watching classic Pokémon series episodes.
Raffle and Mystery Prizes - Earn stamps by taking part in activities to enter the raffle. Mystery prize packs will also be given out for completing challenges and at random moments - you’ll definitely leave with more cards than you arrived with.

Trainer Fuel (Lunch Provided!)
We’ll be providing a healthy and delicious lunch to keep everyone energised for battle. Expect nutritious, trainer‑approved food to power up your performance - think less Potion, more Sitrus Berry. No need to bring a packed lunch; just bring your appetite.

Our aim is to create a welcoming, high-energy environment where young people can build confidence, make friends, and deepen their love for Pokémon.

Whether you want to battle, trade, create, or simply connect with other fans — there’s something here for every Trainer.

PLEASE NOTE; Godalming Youth Service is part of Godalming Town Council. Because of this, only residents of Godalming's neighbourhoods (eg: Farncombe, Aaron's Hill, Godalming Central, Ockford Ridge, Busbridge) will be allocated places.

For young people wanting to access our activities for the first time, we will ask that they attend a Broadwater Youth Centre based day BEFORE accepting any bookings for a youth day out.

We also welcome young people from the following surrounding areas outside our Parish boundaries: Witley, Milford, Compton.

? What to Bring
Comfortable Trainers: For all the "wild encounters" and active games.

Your Cards: If you have Pokémon cards, feel free to bring them (please ensure they are marked/stored safely).

A Hero's Spirit: Ready to work as a team!

Trainer Tip: We recommend leaving your most valuable/expensive cards at home just to be safe—we’ll be using "Battle Decks" for most activities!
