About your mentors
GO YOUR OWN WAY
You make the memories, we help you keep them.
Rachel Stewart is an award-winning designer-maker and the founder of Go Your Own Way (GYOW), based in West Cumbria. Her practice bridges the gap between utilitarian beauty and modern minimalism, deeply inspired by the region's industrial heritage and the raw elements of the fells. Beyond her studio, Rachel is passionately committed to driving cultural and creative growth in West Cumbria; she actively reinvests her expertise in the region through grassroots volunteering, leading community art workshops, and serving as a business mentor to local small businesses and fellow artisans.

An example of a typical day
A typical day runs from 09:30 AM until 2:30 PM, split into two rotating, high-energy halves to keep children fully engaged. In the morning block from 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Group 1 dives into an immersive, hands-on Arts & Crafts Studio session led by award-winning designer-makers Rachel Stewart and Ellen Price. Meanwhile, Group 2 heads to the pitch at St Benedict's Rugby Club for a fast-paced, non-contact tag rugby and agility session led by Jordan Mattinson and volunteer sports coaches. At 11:30 AM, dedicated Revive staff safely guide both groups through a managed 10-minute transit walk to swap venues, followed by a nutritious 30-minute healthy lunch stop from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. For the final block from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, the cohorts switch activities, ensuring every child stays active, learns premium new skills, and leaves with a beautiful creation they are proud of by afternoon pick-up.

Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.
