* August 17th to 21st. 4 nights stay.*
We are excited about heading out on the NCS programme together with your young girls in the coming weeks. It will offer your young person a mix of challenges, outdoor activities, a growth in confidence and development of skills for work and life. They will actively participate in activities that support them to understand their community, learn skills for the world of work and amplify their voice through debate and presentation skills. And Most importantly have fun!
The girls will be sleeping in dormitories sharing rooms of different sizes and the leader (Myself Sahar) will be in the separate bedroom next door.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
During the week, the young people will be at a residential site . The activities will be a mix of physical, project based and teamwork activities. Each activity will have a qualified instructor on site to ensure it is being carried out in line with safety requirements. A safety brief will be carried out done prior to any activity taking place.
No activities will be compulsory to partake in, but we do ask the young people to stay with their team during leader-led activities. 3 meals a day will be provided during the residential phase – please ensure that you have communicated any dietary requirements. We will have staff available at all times, for the young people to speak to with any concerns or worries.

Transport Details
Transport will be leaving from Oldham/ Rochdale area. This is dependent on where the majority of uptake is from.

I am a full time primary school teacher who works across year groups. A qualified forest school leader and a scout leader for 10-14 year olds. I have experience in leading walks for all age groups. I am an outdoor and camping enthusiast who enjoys organising walks and anything involving the outdoors. -First aid trained -update service full enhanced dbs Over 8 +years experience with children -vast experience in working with special needs children
