A summary
A Talk: As Forest School Leaders we are all aware of the health benefits of spending time outdoors but I want to show you how to deepen your connection to nature. Through this talk I want to show you how to truly know the fields, woods, lanes or parks around your home and follow, closely, the subtle changes that occur in nature in these areas through the seasons. This practice can help energise you and keep you healthy and can also help you through difficult and stressful times in your life; and can release blockages that are holding you back from your full potential. Learning how to listen to your intuition and use your wisdom and spirituality in directing your life along the right path. By aligning your heart, mind and body you can achieve a sense of wholeness – and experiencing joy in nature can really lift your spirits too. The synchronicities that come about from working like this can be truly amazing

Outdoor practitioner who is wild about nature
I was brought up in Snowdonia so I was surrounded by beautiful mountains, forests and lakes. Working outdoors feels very natural to me. I have been running PlayWood Forest School & Outdoor Learning in Bath for 12 years - teaching children and adults. I love teaching as I enjoy showing people the wonders of the natural world and love watching them flourish as they experience it. I am also a Forest Bathing Guide & Nature Connections Guide and spend a lot of time taking photos in nature.
