What we'll do
At our HAF Easter craft half-term session, children will enjoy a creative and engaging programme of Easter-themed arts and crafts in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. Activities will include decorating eggs, designing spring artwork, creating personalised keepsakes and making colourful decorations to take home. Alongside crafting, children will take part in structured games and team activities that encourage teamwork, confidence building and positive friendships. A healthy, nutritious meal will be provided as part of the HAF programme, ensuring children have access to good food during the school holidays. We will also promote wellbeing, creativity and positive social interaction throughout the session. Our experienced staff and volunteers will provide guidance and support, ensuring all children feel valued, included and able to participate fully. The session is designed to support families during the holidays while giving children a fun, enriching and memorable Easter experience.

From The Heart Charity (FTHC) is a community-led charity supporting children, young people, and families across Bassetlaw and surrounding areas who are experiencing hardship. We provide essential items including food parcels, clothing, household goods and emergency support, alongside a safe, welcoming community hub that offers a warm space, activities and opportunities to connect. Working closely with volunteers, local partners and donors, we respond quickly to crisis situations while also focusing on longer-term wellbeing, dignity and resilience, ensuring families feel supported, valued and empowered to move forward positively.
