A summary
FSA affiliated Local Groups play such a huge role in supporting Forest School leaders on the ground. These friendly local networks are there to share ideas with and are often able to meet face-to-face; offering things like skills shares, camp outs and CPD training. Each year at the FSA National Conference we host a meet-up so that the different geographical regions can come together in a wonderful bundle of vibrant Forest School joy! This will be an opportunity to meet other people from your geographic region, put faces to names, share practice, network and have some fun. This session is open to anyone at the conference and we hope it will be the perfect warm-up for the Saturday evening quiz and band. About your mentors
Nell Seal
FSA Recognised Provider Scheme Co-ordinator
Nell is a Forest School Leader based in Bedfordshire, previously in Norfolk. She facilitates year long Forest School experiences for children in her village school who are transitioning from EYFS to KS1, in woodland opposite her house. Nell has also worked for the FSA for 6 years, setting up and managing day-to-day both the FSA Recognised FS Provider and the FSA Endorsed FS Trainer Schemes. By original training Nell is an ecologist and a secondary geography teacher, but has worked in primary outdoor learning for over 20 years.

As the Project Officer, I'm pleased to be organising the annual Forest School Association Conference. I am appearing as a Mentor on each workshop to give me oversight and allow me to help out on the day, I may not actually be on your workshop.
