Workshop part of SWSF conference.
From fleece to felt - learning about way to use natural raw fleece and wool roving in forest school setting.
We will learn how to tease the fleece with our hands as well as card it using hand carders.
We will also experiment with coloured wool rowing.
I will introduce you to Wet felting technique with warm water and soap and we will make a small ball that you can take home. If enough time we will also learn how to make fairies with coloured wool and simple technique.

Dominika Baran
Dominika is a qualified Steiner Early Year’s Teacher, Forest school practitioner and outdoor educator and holds a BA in Arts and Cultural Management. Dominika recently completed Permaculture Design Certificate for Educators – Engaging Children in Permaculture. She is also a recipient of scholarship from School of Stitched Textiles where she studies Felting.
