About your mentors
Natural Networks (Community Interest Company)
We seek to benefit both wildlife and people.
Since 2019, the Manor Woods Valley Group has acted as the ‘friends’ group for Manor Woods Valley. It works closely with Bristol Council’s Parks Department to help maintain and develop the site benefit of wildlife and people. The Group’s work is informed by science and research where possible. The proposed work is detailed in a Management Plan that is regularly reviewed and updated. The Group is made up entirely of volunteers who run conservation activities such as clearing encroaching Brambles, sowing and planting wildflowers, coppicing and tree planting. We also organise events such as family nature activities, guided walks and talks.
