A summary

Join us for a full day of outdoor adventure with our Forest School and Boot Camp programme! Forest School Children will take part in a range of hands-on outdoor activities, including: Den building Fire lighting and fire safety Safe tool use Bushcraft skills Nature crafts and natural art Woodland games Wildlife discovery Problem-solving challenges Campfire Lunch Prepare and cook food over the campfire Enjoy lunch together outdoors Boot Camp Fun and inclusive activities designed to build: Teamwork Confidence Resilience Fitness and coordination Activities may include: Obstacle courses Team challenges Active games Age-appropriate physical activities Throughout the day, children will develop confidence, social skills, independence and a love of the outdoors while enjoying a healthy balance of learning, adventure and exercise.

FAQ's

What should my child wear? Children should wear weather-appropriate outdoor clothing that can get muddy, along with sturdy footwear. We recommend layers, waterproofs and spare clothes. What food is provided? Children will help prepare and cook food over the campfire. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. What happens in bad weather? Sessions run in most weather conditions, as outdoor learning is part of the experience. Activities may be adapted to ensure safety and enjoyment. Are Forest School activities safe? Yes. All activities are risk-assessed and supervised by qualified staff. Children are taught how to use tools and engage with fire safely. What should my child bring? A refillable water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, any required medication and a positive attitude for a day of outdoor adventure. Can children attend with additional needs? Please contact us before booking to discuss your child's needs. We will do our best to make the programme accessible and enjoyable for everyone. What skills will my child learn? Children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, communication, problem-solving skills, independence and a greater connection with nature.
