A summary
Welcome to Our Football Summer Holiday Club!
Designed specifically for young people aged 12–16, our Football Summer Holiday Club provides an exciting opportunity to develop football skills, stay active, build confidence, and enjoy a positive experience with friends and peers during the summer holidays.
Running across three days, participants can choose to attend one, two, or all three sessions. Each day offers a variety of football coaching activities, meaning young people can benefit from the programme regardless of how many days they attend.
Sessions are led by qualified and experienced coaches and focus on developing key football skills, including passing, dribbling, ball control, shooting, defending, movement, and game awareness. Activities are suitable for a range of abilities, from those looking to improve their confidence to more experienced players wanting to further develop their game.
Each day includes skill-based drills, small-sided games, tactical challenges, and match play, allowing participants to put their learning into practice in a fun and supportive environment. Coaches will encourage teamwork, communication, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the programme.
There will also be football challenges, skills competitions, mini tournaments, and opportunities to earn prizes and recognition for effort, teamwork, and achievement. Alongside football coaching, young people will take part in healthy lifestyle discussions and nutritional education, helping them understand the importance of hydration, healthy eating, and physical wellbeing.
Our Football Summer Holiday Club offers a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where young people can improve their football ability, make new friends, stay active, and enjoy a memorable summer experience.
