A summary

Our daily sessions are action-packed with a variety of fitness activities which include learning the fundamentals of muay thai and boxing, as well as team games such as, dodgeball,card games capture the flag and relay races. The combination of activities aim to build confidence, resilience and sportsmanship in a safe, fun environment. Some sessions will also include an outing in our minibus to local areas such as Wildwood, Escot, local beach or bowling, weather permitting.

Twin Tigers Martial Arts & Boxing Club

Twin Tigers Martial Arts & Boxing Club is a family run, fully equipped martial arts gym that teaches Muay Thai, Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. Our club provides a welcoming environment that fosters growth, discipline, diversity and respect for all ages and abilities. We strive to empower students to overcome their fears and build strength in mind, body and spirit whilst having fun! Our fully experienced coaches are dedicated to offering a safe, friendly environment in which to help each student reach their potential. We are passionate about providing tailored tuition for every skill or ability to enable progression and develop self-belief.

What we'll do

Our Fitness, Fun and Food sessions are a dynamic mix of gym-based fitness activities combined with day trips (Weather permitting): Monday - 1 hour gym based activities, trip to Wildwood, Escot with packed lunch. Tuesday - Gym based day with cooked meal at Zest restaurant. Wednesday - 1 hour gym based activities, Ten pin bowling (Exeter) and McDonald's. Thursday - 1 hour gym based activities, Jurassic Coast fossil hunting with packed lunch.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Learn: The fundamentals of various martial arts techniques and team games. To develop focus, concentration and self-control but most importantly, have fun!

Aim 2

Understand: The value of a healthy lifestyle alongside discipline, resilience and respect.

Aim 3

Be able to: Demonstrate some martial arts moves with control and confidence. Show an increased knowledge of healthy lifestyle choices.

What will be needed?

No specialist equipment is necessary for our activity sessions, just comfy sportswear (such as leggings/joggers and tshirts) and warm clothing to put on following training. Boxing gloves will be supplied for pad-work only drills. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on outing days ie: coats/sunhats.
