Then we will together tan skins using different materials. Finally, you will learn how to preserve your skin in the softening and drying process. You will leave with a fully tanned and softened piece of salmon leather and a whole salmon skin on its way to becoming leather to be finished at home.

Key points covered:

-Teachings in home-style tanning using tea and tannin extracts.
-Foraging walk to gather plants to extract the tannin.
-Insight in the tanning process: strength of tan, time and relate variables.

At the end of this lovely day you will feel inspired and skilled to tan your own fish skins.
