A summary
First Class Athletics has been awarded grant funding from Milton Keynes City Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, for children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during Summer school holidays in 2023.
With activities tailored for children aged 4-16, the First Class Athletics Summer Holiday Camp aims to teach new skills, build confidence and help children make new friends!
Hosted in a fully equipped sporting facility, and led by fully qualified and first aid trained camp leaders, attendees will enjoy sessions such as:
- Crafts
- Tumbling
- Cheerleading
- Colouring
- Ninja
- Dance
- Games

Session 1: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Session 2: 12:30pm - 16:30pm
Children who receive free school meals will be able to attend for FREE!
If your child is not in receipt of benefit related free school meals you can contact us and make a private booking for £14 per session or £28 for a full day.

Session 1:
- Begins at 8:30am each day, so please arrive no more than 10 minutes early so that your child can settle in the gym before the day begins.
- Attendees will then be ready for pick up at 12:30pm each day, so please arrive 5 minutes beforehand to collect your child from the gym.
Session 2:
- Begins at 12:30pm each day, so please arrive no more than 10 minutes early so that your child can settle in the gym before the day begins.
- Attendees will then be ready for pick up at 16:30pm each day, so please arrive 5 minutes beforehand to collect your child from the gym.
Parents/ carers are not permitted to stay/take part in the camp and are only required to drop off and pick up their child(ren) at the beginning and end of each day.
Lunch:
A free hot meal will be provided each day by our Summer Holiday Camp catering supplier, Grace Kitchen.
Vegetarian options will be available.
Menu:
Mondays:
- Rice with chilli con carne (basmati rice, veg, sunflower oil, salt, beef/veg mince, chopped tomatoes, onions, mixed herbs)
Tuesdays:
- Pasta with meatballs ( fusilli pasta, mixed veg, beef/veg mince, onions, chopped tomatoes, sunflower oil, mix herbs)
Wednesdays:
- Vegetable rice with chicken (basmati rice, mixed veg, chicken, onions, sunflower oil, soy sauce)
Thursdays:
- Spaghetti bolognese (spaghetti, onions, chopped tomatoes, beef/veg mince, garlic, sunflower oil, salt)
Children are allowed to bring a packed lunch if preferred.
What you'll need
All attendees should come in comfortable sportswear that allows for easy movement. Due to the weather conditions, we would also recommend that each attendee brings extra layers that can be worn/taken off as they see fit.
Footwear: Only clean indoor shoes, socks or bear feet are allowed in the main gym space.
Hair: Tied back into a style that can last for the duration of the camp.
General: No jewellery
