A summary
At The Sunflower SEND Hub, our holiday clubs are thoughtfully designed to give children with special educational needs and disabilities a place where they can truly flourish during school breaks. We understand that many families struggle to find inclusive, engaging, and supportive childcare options during the holidays, which is why our clubs offer so much more than simply a safe space — they provide a nurturing environment filled with warmth, structure, and opportunities for personal growth. Every session is created with the individual needs of each child in mind, ensuring that our activities are accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for young people across the SEND spectrum. Whether a child thrives through sensory play, creative exploration, quiet reflective time, physical activity, or structured social interaction, our holiday clubs are built to accommodate and celebrate their unique strengths. Led by a compassionate team with specialist SEND experience, we take pride in offering consistent routines, clear communication, and calm, predictable environments that help children feel secure and confident throughout the day. Parents and carers can enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are supported by professionals who genuinely understand their needs and are committed to helping them feel valued, included, and capable. As a not‑for‑profit organization, our mission is rooted in community benefit rather than commercial gain, which allows us to focus on delivering high‑quality programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families. Our holiday clubs also encourage positive peer relationships by bringing children together in small groups where friendships can form naturally and safely, supported by adults who guide social interactions with sensitivity. From themed days and outdoor adventures to calming sensory sessions and creative arts opportunities, every moment is designed to spark joy, build confidence, and create lasting memories. By promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and the freedom to express themselves, we empower children to discover what makes them shine. For families seeking a trusted, understanding, and enriching holiday provision, The Sunflower SEND Hub is a place where children are seen, supported, and celebrated — a place where every child can thrive during the school holidays and beyond

About your mentor
Sunflower SEND Hub
? Together we grow, together we shine.
The Sunflower SEND Hub is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and offering safe, structured environments where they can feel understood, valued and able to thrive. We are so much more than an Alternative Provision - whilst it is a vital part of what we offer, our hub has been built with the whole family in mind. We understand the daily challenges, the isolation and the constant fight for support - because we've lived it ourselves. At Sunflower SEND Hub you'll also find support for parents, EHCP and DLA support, holiday clubs, family fun days, and fundraiser's!
