FEB Half Term Forest School block mentored by Sticks and Worms
What we'll do
ALL sessions are led by QUALIFIED a Forest School Leader (Outdoor first aid trained) We will be spending the day at Ashworth Valley campsite located in Rochdales Ashworth Valley. FEB Half term CLUB The site consists of 68 acres of gently sloping grassland, a wonderful backwoods area, two accommodation huts, lots of built in activities and a wonderful play area. The site is enclosed and private with its own private beck running through it. We will have a packed out day full of forest school fun. -Traditional fire circle, where children will help me make a fire and learn the skills of fire making . -Cooking on the fire, lets make some campfire food. -We will have access to our own private woods where we will play games and make our shelter and hammock. - spring related art and crafts and some survival skills. -Nature trail around the area and many more FOREST school; activities The site has its own toilets. This is a drop off only session. Parents can only attend if they have a dbs check You can book onto one day or multiple days Session time 10am-3pm Cost £25- per child Snacks Included *If your child requires some waterproofs please don't hesitate to ask, we can loan for the day*

Sticks and Worms Nature Network CIC I am a primary school teacher who works across year groups. A qualified forest school leader and a scout leader for 10-14 year old. I have experience in leading walks for all age groups. I am qualified Lowland Leader with years of outdoor hiking experience. I am an outdoor and camping enthusiast who enjoys organising walks and anything involving the outdoors. -Outdoor First aid trained -update service full enhanced dbs Over 8 +years experience with children -vast experience in working with special needs children
