FAQs

What time do the sessions start and where do I need to be? The sessions start at 10am and finish at 3pm, please arrive promptly to get the most out of the day. Attached to the letter is a map of where we will meet you and where to park your car. I don’t know what day I am meant to book? Please – book whichever day suits you, subject to availability. I am a reserve - how will I be notified of a space? If the sessions are full on the day you would like to attend. Please click "register you interest" and we will add you the waiting list. My child is 5 years and over but has a younger sibling – can they still attend? Yes – the sessions are aimed at school age children, but if the younger child is of school age then they can still attend, parents must be responsible for their children throughout the day. I have more than 4 children can we still attend? Please contact us to discuss the options – HAF@acleisure.com I have to work and won’t be able to attend, can my children attend alone? Unfortunately not, but another responsible adult or family member could bring your child on your behalf. If it is raining will the session still go ahead? Yes – we have covered or indoor spaces available. All of the activities are completely safe in the rain, bring waterproof clothes, wellies and warm layers and we will carry on regardless. In extreme weather situations we may have to cancel a session - we will contact you if this is the case. Do you cater for dietary requirements? Yes - the lunch provided is suitable for all dietary needs. Unfortunately our take home food boxes are not able to cater for individual dietary requirements due to the volume of food boxes. If there are any items you do not wish to take please leave them with us and we can distribute them to other families. I have booked, but I now can’t attend. What should I do? Please only book if you plan to turn up – we understand in some circumstances that you may have to cancel. Spaces on this programme are very limited, and if a family fails to show up, then a space will have been wasted which could have been offered to another family. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer your place to one of the other families that are eligible for this programme.
