A summary
Join us on Wednesday 22nd October for a family spooky Halloween party at Admiral Woods, nestled in the heart of the tiny hamlet of Bicknor. All groups over 4 will automatically receive a discount - so a group of 4 will only pay £24 Listen to spooky stories, create scary forest crafts, concoct magical potions and take part in the gruesome treasure hunt. You can keep warm around the campfire and toast marshmallows or make wiggly worm camp fire bread, which you can then enjoy with jam or nutella. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult (maximum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children), but there will be lots of Halloween fun for adults to enjoy too, so why not come with the whole family!

Come and join Sarah and Sunita, both experienced teachers and Forest School leaders, for a fun filled spooky family Halloween party.
What you'll need
As we are based outdoors, we recommend a warm coat, hat, gloves and sturdy shoes as it may be muddy. It is likely that children will get especially muddy/wet (especially if they are a fan of the mud kitchen) so waterproof all-in one suits and wellies are ideal. You will need to wear long sleeved tops and long trousers and we recommend lots of layers. We advise that you wear tick and insect repellent, but we do have some you may use if you don't have any at home. Please bring whatever you would usually need for a day out, including snacks and spare clothes etc.for children. We also recommend that you bring your own hot drinks to keep you warm. Parking is available at the entrance of the woods, but there is a short walk (about 300 metres) into camp along a track. It is likely that the track will be muddy at this time of year, so we advise against prams/ buggies, unless you have an all-terrain buggy. Baby carriers are ideal for very little ones. Please park considerately so that we can get all the cars in. Please be aware, that as we are based in a protected ancient woodland, the parking area is natural woodland, by parking there, you accept that we cannot be held liable for any damage to vehicles.
