Family Conversations

North Star Learning Hub CIC

A summary
A North Star Family Conversation
Summer holidays can be full of wonderful opportunities, but for many families they also bring changes to routine, sensory overload, emotional overwhelm and increased anxiety.
The Summer Reset is a relaxed, welcoming evening for parents, carers and supportive adults to pause, reflect and head into the holidays feeling more confident and connected.
Hosted by North Star Learning Hub CIC through The Listening Project, alongside partners Neuro-Aware CIC and Pets4People, this event will explore practical ways to better understand behaviour, support regulation and create a calmer, more manageable summer for the whole family.
Together we'll explore:
? Looking beyond behaviour
? Understanding the nervous system and emotional regulation
? Practical strategies to support your child during the summer holidays
? The benefits of animal-assisted wellbeing
? Opportunities to connect with other parents and carers in a relaxed, supportive environment
This isn't a lecture or traditional parenting workshop. It's an opportunity to learn, share ideas, ask questions (if you wish), and leave with practical tools, new connections and the reassurance that you're not alone.
☕ Refreshments will be provided.
Please note: This is an adult-only event, created to provide parents and carers with dedicated time to focus on themselves, reflect and engage in the conversations. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children at this session.
? Places are free but booking is essential, as numbers are limited.
Listening. Learning. Belonging.
