Sticks and Worms

A summary
This walk is Pram friendly and suitable for beginners.
Come along to explore the beautiful canal side tow path and take in all of the wonderful scenery we are lucky to have around us. The walk will be led towards Walsden, just a 2.5 mile (approx.) easy stroll so perfect for families or beginners if you’re coming alone.
Attendees must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather on the day i.e. waterproofs/sun cream etc.
We will be spotting wildlife along the way and learning about what lives and grows around the canal. We'll also learn about how canals are made and used.
Starting point car Parking is a free car park outside Yankee Heaven along Canal Street. Please park respectfully to avoid blocking other drivers in, try to car share where possible to help the environment.
