A summary
The Explore the Wild program is a children-focused health and wellbeing programme for 7 to 12 year olds. Across four days this Easter, Company Drinks will transform the old bowls club and bowls green in Barking Park into a well-being space for wild play, growing, cooking, feasting, resting, creating, and eating nutritious food. Company Drinks will be partnering with Made Up Kitchen to deliver nutritional food and cooking workshops through holistic approaches. We will invite some of our favourite local artists and practitioners to lead a wide range of creative activities inspired by Spring. Explore the Wild will run for 4 consecutive days on the 30th, 31st (March), 1st, 2nd (April) between 10:30am-2:00pm and lunch is provided. Age Group: 7 to 12 We are aware that local schools break for the holiday at different times, so please check in with your children’s school and only sign up for the dates you are available.

About your mentors
Company Drinks
C is for community. A community space.
Company Drinks is a community space and social enterprise based in Barking and Dagenham. Company Drinks started out in 2014 to bring people back together through the act of picking and reconnecting with local green spaces and nearby countryside. Company Drinks is now a co-working space and an expanding network of users, collaborators and partners, who come together to pick, grow, make, learn, unlock and share the resources and knowledge around us. They are based at the Barking Park bowls pavilion and host a variety of seasonal activities for children and families.
Kim
Asst. project manager / play co-ordinator
Hi! I'm Kim. I work on most of the Explore the Wild programmes at Company Drinks including HAF. I am usually there, in person, getting stuck in with the fun! I am also involved in the project planning & admin alongside Grace, our project manager, so you might speak to me on the phone or via email also. I grew up in Dagenham. I am still East London based and often work in borough as an artist and facilitator. I've been a part of our HAF programme for 4 years and it's always a highlight for me!
GRACE
Project Manager / Families and Children
Hello, I'm Grace, and I project manage Explore the Wild - our HAF program for children eligible for free school meals. You'll often hear from me via email or sometimes on the phone throughout projects.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.We are often over-subscribed, so for any reason you cannot attend your offered dates, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer that space to our waiting list.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
