A summary
This is a hybrid session. Parents or carers are required to stay with children under 8, and with any children who need additional support. Tickets are only required for children who are bowling. A free meal is provided for children, and parents/carers are welcome to purchase food from the café on the day. This event is free for HAF-eligible children aged 4–16 (those in receipt of benefit-related free school meals). For further information, please refer to the guidelines set out by Tameside MBC: https://www.tameside.gov.uk/earlyhelpoffer/parent-carer/haf Enjoy a fun and inclusive SEND HyperBowling session this February Half Term, featuring a game of HyperBowling and a tasty meal. The session is designed specifically for children and young people with SEND or additional needs, offering a relaxed, accessible, and supportive environment. Whether it’s your first time bowling or you’re a regular pro, this activity provides a welcoming space to build confidence, develop social skills, make friends, and most importantly, have fun. Led by Active Tameside’s experienced and SEND-trained staff, the session is tailored to individual needs, with lightweight balls, ramps, and quiet spaces available to ensure everyone can take part comfortably. Held during the school holidays Tameside Wellness Centre, Denton For children and young people with SEND Booking required – spaces are limited Fun, friendship, and strikes – Everybody Can.
