Evergreen Home Education Provision

Evergreen Alternative learning provision- Home Education Evergreen is our Home Ed provision based at Little Muddy Me which is an entirely outdoor pre-school set on the edge of Bray Lake within a beautiful half acre woodland. The children who attend our outdoor provision benefit from a multi peer approach when integrating with the preschool at points throughout the day, as well as some focused/targeted sessions. Children are free to choose from a range of planned and child-led/self-directed activities. Our remit is on​ emotional literacy, developing risk awareness, physical development, executive functioning skills, promoting emotional wellbeing and self-esteem. Our focus is firmly on exploring the benefits of being outdoors and working alongside children using their own interests. We’re not a school. We do not follow the National Curriculum, as this is not a requirement, although we work to support the child’s individual targets using a cross curricular approach. We aim to increase cultural capital through a variety of holistic enrichment experiences, trips and hands on learning. We also have a farm which is available for our use so we can enjoy going there and spending time with the animals and growing vegetables at points throughout the term.
