A summary

After a breakfast on arrival, our morning works on a carosel of activties. Each child takes part in 2 sports and a cooking activity. We then sit down for a hot, healthy lunch. The afternoon consists of the choice between arts & crafts or a tournament in a sport such as football. We finish the day with a certificate for the children who have shown good values during the day.

All of our staff our qualified and experience at working with primary aged children and we strive to create a fun, safe environment for them to make friends, try new things and go home happy.

SCCU EPIC

EPIC Academy is the Pre 16 provision of SCCU Group that has been developed to support schools, parents and pupils in a number of different areas. The ethos/culture of EPIC is all about learning through guided discovery and fun.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Develop a Healthy and Active Lifestyle – Encourage children to engage in physical activities and learn the importance of nutrition through sports and cooking sessions, promoting lifelong healthy habits.

Aim 2

Enhance Social and Teamwork Skills – Provide opportunities for children to build friendships, work together in teams, and develop communication skills through group activities, sports, and shared mealtimes.

Aim 3

Foster Confidence and Positive Values – Celebrate effort, kindness, and personal growth with daily certificates, helping children build self-esteem and recognize the importance of respect, perseverance, and fair play.
