What we'll do
We will provide a safe, calm and supportive environment, where young people can have fun, explore and be themselves. We will have a maximum of 8 places per session, with 3 members of staff, PA's are welcome. Makaton and PECS visuals available. We will offer a variety of activities tailored to suit individuals needs, including: Physical activities - music and movement, group and sports activities and textured mats. Creative activities - painting, experimenting with colours, making sensory bottles and lego building Sensory Area - tactile stations, exploring sounds, lights and textures Messy play - playdough and gloop Secure outdoor space for sand and water exploration Cooking activities - making cupcakes, fruit smoothies and our own ice-cream A calm zone for downtime with a dark den, stories and quiet activities The building is fully accessible with no steps. Large accessible toilets - we are unable to provide personal care A cooked meal will be provided as well as healthy snacks and drinks, we cater to the individuals dietary requirements.
