What we'll do

Join us for an exciting 3-day programme running 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with lunch and snacks provided daily. Packed with creativity, adventure and hands-on learning, there’s something special for every age group! Ages 5–7 Our youngest group will enjoy a fun-filled mix of creative play, science discovery and exciting outings. Activities include hands-on arts and crafts such as 3D shape creations, interactive science projects like butterfly-themed designs. They’ll also take part in multi-sports activities and enjoy special trips, all designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and social development in a safe and supportive setting. Ages 8+ Girls The 8+ Girls programme offers a dynamic blend of creativity, teamwork and memorable experiences. Activities include custom tote bag design, exciting science experiments, group cooking sessions and fun team challenges and an ice skating trip on the second half term week! Ages 8+ Boys Our 8+ Boys programme is packed with energy, teamwork and adventure. From football camp and multi-sports sessions to hands-on creative projects and cooking activities, there’s plenty to keep them engaged and active. The programme also includes an exciting trip and group challenges, helping build resilience, confidence and strong team spirit while having a great time.

EMCA UK, formally the Eritrean Muslim Community Association UK, was founded in 1989 to meet the social, welfare and cultural needs of Eritrean immigrants in the United Kingdom. Based in London, it operates the Al-Nagashi Mosque & Centre, offering prayer facilities, lectures, Quran and Islamic classes, Nikah services, and community events such as Ramadan iftars and Eid celebrations. Through its youth-focused programmes—which include sports clubs, Seerah camps, career workshops, scouts and weekly youth clubs—EMCA empowers young people to “aspire to do more and aim higher” . It also runs outreach initiatives like feeding the homeless in Wandsworth and Lambeth and provides support services ranging from matrimonial introductions to funeral arrangements, reflecting its core values of faith.

Eligibility criteria

Lambeth HAF-funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals and attend a school in Lambeth. (Please note, this is different to universal free school meals that are available to all school-aged children). Each child can book up to 4 sessions in total this Spring with any provider.
