What we'll do

EFD are back at Bulwell Academy for 2026 with more action packed football and multi-sports clubs. Activities will include: Football, cricket, dodgeball, table tennis, basketball and much more. We will also have our inflatable bungee run and bouncy castle on site for everyone to enjoy! We will be providing a nutritious lunch from our outstanding catering provider, along with snacks and drinks throughout the day. In addition, we will also offer ‘breakaway stations’ for children to take a break from activity and chill out with some table games, puzzles and artwork.

About your mentors

EFD Sport & Education

Progression - Empowerment - Enjoyment

Founded in 2019 as Elite Football Development, the company was established by former NFFC and current DCFC footballer Ben Osborn and former professional footballer and coach Jack Andrews, with the mission to inspire young people through sport and education. Starting as a football coaching and P.E provider in local schools and within the community, we quickly witnessed first-hand the positive impact that sport was having, not only in fostering strong relationships, but also in developing positive skills, behaviours and attributes that go way beyond the playing field.

Additional information

Please ensure your child comes with the correct footwear and clothing for sports activities, along with a water bottle and any necessary medication. Enter the school via the main gates on Squires Avenue and sign in with EFD staff at reception.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Empowerment - We place a huge emphasis on ensuring all children attending an EFD sports club feel confident and empowered to maximise their potential.

Aim 2

Enjoyment - If you enjoy what you do, you'll do it to the best of your ability! We believe that every child should enjoy sport, and EFD sports clubs allow every child to do just that.

Aim 3

Progression - We ensure that every child who comes to an EFD sports club leaves knowing they have made progress in at least one area, on or off the field!
