A summary
We will be making ceramic items using different hand building techniques like clay modelling, pinching, coiling and slabs construction. They will also have the opportunity to learn about potters wheels and how to use them. We will decorate the finished work with coloured slips and glaze. The children will be learning about different decoration techniques like sgraffito and stencils. Projects will be provided, but they will also be encouraged to bring their own ideas.
