A summary

What is HAF

The HAF programme is a UK government‑funded scheme (via the Department for Education) that runs during school holidays (Easter, Summer, Christmas).

Our aim is to support children aged 8/11 especially those who receive benefits‑related free school meals (FSM) with free healthy meals and enrichment activities.

The programme also strives to help children be active, learn new skills, socialise, reduce isolation, and return to school feeling ready to engage.

Here are examples of activities and types of provision that HAF tends to include

Football, swimming, bouncy castle, roller skating, outdoor fun games, badminton, table tennis and fitness sessions.
