A summary
Come and experience a truly unique family experience with our Doze Under Dippy sleepovers. Stay overnight in the museum, snoozing under the feet of a 26-foot Diplodocus! Join us for a night of exploration and fun-filled activities designed for children aged 6 – 12 and their grown-ups. Although adults don't need to request a ticket, children MUST be accompanied by a parent/carer throughout the event. Simply make sure to message us the details of the accompanying parent/carer as soon as the ticket request for your child has been approved and we will add you to the register for the event. Staying overnight in a museum for a family sleepover is a unique experience that creates lifelong memories for families. During the event you will: • Snooze under the feet of a 26-foot Diplodocus. • Take part in a torchlit treasure hunt around the museum. • Get creative with arts and crafts. • Take on the mission to rescue dinosaurs with LEGO bricks. • Wind down for a short film and handle fossils. Lights go out at 11pm and then it's time to settle down to sleep. A hot dinner of jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings will be served during the evening in the museum restaurant, along with late night snacks and drinks. A self-serve cold buffet breakfast is served between 7am to 8am, and before departing you can explore our latest exhibition, Stories that Made Us. Departure from the museum is at 9am.
