A summary
Join me in my studio in Forest Row, Sussex for an introduction to abstract painting & colour. I’ll demonstrate some contemporary painting techniques followed by a chance for you to try out painting with acrylics and a silicon tool. The emphasis will be on play and exploration and the joy of colour. “What a gift I have found in attending the classes of Richard, at Emerson. Lessons take place in a studio surrounded by a wonderful green space outside and Richard’s huge inspirational paintings within. Each lesson Richard offers up his encyclopaedic knowledge of artists and painting technique. He guides gently, allowing students to enjoy experimenting, within a supported learning environment. I always come away encouraged and enthused by the class, excited for my next visit.” – Jan Steadman Art materials for the painting sessions will be provided.
