A summary

This dynamic devising theatre project invites young people to explore identity, self-expression, and belonging through performance. Working collaboratively, participants will create original material inspired by their own experiences, ideas, and voices — shaping a bold and authentic piece of theatre from the ground up.
Through creative workshops, the group will experiment with movement, storytelling, spoken word, and character work, building confidence and developing their artistic skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The process encourages open discussion, curiosity, and celebration of individuality, creating space for young people to explore who they are and how they want to be seen.

The project will culminate in a live performance at Queer AF, offering participants the opportunity to share their work with an audience and be part of a vibrant platform that champions diverse voices and stories.

This is more than a theatre project — it’s a space to be heard, to connect, and to create something meaningful together.
