What we'll do
At Develop Outdoors, our Forest School Holiday Club (ages 6–11) offers seasonal outdoor adventures packed with nature exploration, woodland crafts, safe tool use, team games, and campfire fun. Children build confidence, friendships, and practical skills while enjoying fresh air and hands-on learning in a safe, supportive environment. Seasonal activities can include: Woodland Tool Work: Learning to safely use child-friendly hand tools Building simple wooden projects Creating dens, structures, and woodland crafts Nature Crafts: Leaf printing and natural art Clay creations using found materials Making bird feeders, dreamcatchers, or seasonal decorations Outdoor Exploration: Mini beast hunts and wildlife spotting Tree and plant identification Woodland scavenger hunts Team Games & Challenges: Problem-solving group activities Nature-based obstacle courses Cooperative woodland games Campfire Skills (weather dependant): Fire safety awareness Baking simple campfire snacks

Session times and what to wear
Session times are 9.30am-2.30pm We encourage children to dress suitably for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or wellies as it can often be muddy at the site. No opened toes shoes or best clothes - please dress children in clothes they don't mind getting dirty! Weatherproof coat is recommended and layers for keeping warm. Please bring a drink for your child. We will provide drinking water.
