A summary
Join our youth workers in the Coach House at Delapré Abbey for 4 hours of fun. Depending on the weather, the morning usually starts some ice breakers followed by exploring and playing games in the Abbey's grounds. Then we return back to the Coach House for a hot lunch provided by the onsite cafe. This is usually a jacket potato with a range of toppings that include vegan and vegetarian, and some fruit. Then we spend the afternoon in and around the Coach House playing games and crafting. If the children like the idea, we can visit the Abbey, do some archery or get the footballs out. We try to be led by their interests. Best to come dressed for the weather, with hats and sunscreen if its warm, or a raincoat if its not so nice. If the weather is bad, we have all the Abbey to explore in the dry.
