A summary

We will provide FREE creative sessions during the holidays for children eligible for Free School Meals. During the day, we will run two sessions simultaneously: 5-7-year-olds in one group and 8-11-year-olds in the other. They will come together for lunch as one big group! We provide breakfast, snacks, and hot, tasty lunches for a full day of activities. Sessions we deliver include: Music, arts & crafts, drama, dance, den building, karate & movement, jewellery making, and much more... PLUS FREE TRIPS! Trips in the past include the cinema, Total Ninja, Projekts, climbing, and laser quest. Sessions are led by our wonderful team of artists, musicians, actors, and dancers!

Gorse Hill Studios (GHSCC) is an ambitious youth arts charity that believes all young people have the right to social, emotional, educational, and cultural investment in their future. We work with young people, encouraging them to value themselves by taking an active role in their community and learning. We support them in building achievable aspirational pathways for their futures.

Day to day

Young people will arrive at 10 am and have time to settle in, grab a snack or breakfast before the first session starts! The session will break for lunchtime and a chance to run around before the final session in the afternoon. We run a whole host of different sessions and prioritise the children having fun and trying something new! Children will then be picked up at 2 pm! Fridays look a little different as we get to go out on exciting free trips in the local area (so timings may vary on Fridays!)
