What we'll do
Let your imagination take the lead! ✨ Join us for an inspiring day of creative writing, storytelling and imaginative adventures as we bring original ideas to life through words. Through fun writing prompts, storytelling games and creative activities, participants will invent memorable characters, exciting settings and imaginative plots while exploring different ways to tell a story. Along the way, they'll develop their creativity, build confidence in expressing their ideas and discover that every great story starts with a spark of imagination. Throughout the day, participants will be guided through a variety of engaging activities, encouraging everyone to share ideas, experiment with different styles and find their own unique voice. Whether your child already loves writing or simply enjoys creating stories, this workshop offers a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can explore their creativity. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created their own original stories and characters, celebrating everything they've imagined and achieved throughout the day. There may also be opportunities to share their work with the group in a fun and encouraging way for those who would like to. This workshop is perfect for young people of all experience levels, whether they're budding authors, passionate readers or simply have a big imagination. It's a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, grow in confidence and discover the joy of bringing stories to life. Come along, make new friends, build confidence and unlock your imagination through creative writing and storytelling! This workshop is free for children who receive free school meals, and is part of Suffolk County Council's HAF programme.
