What we'll do
1. 3D Pen Workshop Saturday 13th June | Halton Lea Library, Runcorn Join us to explore the exciting world of 3D pens! Your young person will take part in an introductory workshop before using templates to create items such as keyrings, badges, jewellery, finger puppets and more. __________________ 2. LEGO Comic Book Design Workshop Saturday 19th September | Halton Lea Library, Runcorn In this exciting workshop, your young person will create their very own comic strip featuring LEGO characters. At the end of the session, we will share everyone’s creations with the group. __________________ 3. 3D Pen - Fidget Spinner Workshop Saturday 7th November | Halton Lea Library, Runcorn Join us for a brand-new 3D pen workshop where your young person will design and create their very own fidget toy. They can then take their creation home to use and share with friends and family. __________________ 4. Light Up Christmas Card Workshop Saturday 12th December| Halton Lea Library, Runcorn Join us for a festive Halton Short Breaks workshop where your young person will design and create their own light-up Christmas card. They’ll combine creativity with simple electronics to build a circuit that makes their card shine. __________________ 5. Digital Music Making Workshop Saturday 6th February | Halton Lea Library, Runcorn Join us to explore the exciting world of digital music making. Your young person will use an iPad to create their own unique beat and develop it into a short track to share. __________________ 6. Digital Art Workshop Saturday 20th March | Halton Lea Library, Runcorn Join us to explore the exciting world of digital art. Your young person will learn how to use the popular digital art app Procreate to design and create their own digital masterpiece.

Who can get involved? Full eligibility criteria: For young people aged 8–17 in Halton with a current EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) or 15+ hours of assessed support needs, and a diagnosis of a hearing or visual impairment, learning or physical disability, chronic or life-threatening condition, communication need (including autism), consciousness disorder, or mental health need. __________________ How much does it cost? We request a £5 donation contributing to your young person’s place. (non-refundable) However, we completely understand that everyone’s circumstances are different. If you’re finding it difficult to make a donation, please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 0151 345 1419 – we’re happy to help. __________________ How do I sign up? Sign up for a place here on EEQU by clicking the register button and filling out our registration form. For any clarifications please contact us at hello@makocreate.co.uk or call 0151 345 1419. __________________ Participants with an additional need may be permitted to be joined by a sibling who does not meet our eligibility criteria, but only if the sibling’s presence will be of benefit to the young person and if there is adequate space on the course. Due to our provision agreement with Halton Borough Council, we must reserve the right to cancel sibling places in order to accommodate other young people with additional needs. We will require a phone call with you to discuss your circumstances if you would like to enrol a non-eligible sibling onto a session. **Tickets are non-transferable - please ensure the name of the participant you sign up matches the young person who arrives at our session. Each young person must have their own ticket.**
