What we'll do
Creative Kicks offers a supportive, engaging space for children to enjoy their school holidays with a balance of structure, creativity and play. Each morning begins with a relaxed meet-and-greet and a chance to settle in. Children are offered warm bagels with a choice of toppings to start the day. The day continues with a themed morning activity — such as cooking, painting or a creative group project — followed by a refreshment break with fruit and a drink. Then it’s time for sport, with a range of inclusive options like football, dodgeball, cricket and golf that are adapted to suit different abilities and interests. We provide a daily hot meal, including a jacket potato option and a child-friendly dessert, all served in a relaxed setting. Afternoons include hands-on sessions like science experiments, gardening or team games — planned to keep things varied and enjoyable. The day ends with time for free choice and reflection at The Grange, where children can play pool or ping pong, read, watch a film or join in group activities like a water fight. Our team works to make sure each child feels included, supported and part of the day. Activities are planned with flexibility, and no two days look the same.

Network Learning Pathways
Where Every Learner Finds Their Path
We are an alternative learning provision during term times. In the summer holidays we use our space, The Grange, for our HAF provision. It is set in a beautiful landscape which promotes psychological safety and wellbeing and has large indoor and outdoor spaces plus breakout spaces, and an equipped kitchen, all of which can be used flexibly for physical activity and creativity. All food and refreshments will be cooked and prepared on site by our own team of staff. Children can be involved in preparing their own food e.g. buttering their toast, peeling vegetables, making cookies and their desert for the next day. We will offer a balance of structured tuition and free play and have a big enough indoor space to ensure physical activity can continue in adverse weather. We can adapt the activities to incorporate any children with mobility difficulties. Each session is carefully planned with flexibility in mind, so that children can access activities in a way that works best for them, whether through sensory play, quiet zones, creative expression, outdoor exploration, or movement-based experiences. We will utilise the same staff who work within our alternative learning provision. All these staff are well trained, experienced and used to creating fun and engaging activities for children.
