A summary
The drumming workshop at The Link, Winyates Centre offers children and families an exciting opportunity to explore rhythm, music, and creative expression together. Led by an experienced facilitator, the session introduces a variety of drums and percussion instruments, allowing participants to experiment with sound, tempo, and teamwork in a fun, energetic environment. Children can build confidence as they learn simple rhythms, follow group patterns, and create their own beats, while families enjoy a shared experience that encourages communication, cooperation, and joy. The workshop is fully inclusive, suitable for all ages and abilities, and designed to inspire a love of music through hands‑on, interactive learning. This a family event so children must be supervised at all times. Lunch for the children will be provided.

REACH prides itself on being a safe space for many people who use The Link daily with people that they trust. REACH facilities are used for 5 days a week. Many of our service users are facing fuel poverty, have limited funds to heat their homes therefore The Link is a safe, warm place to be where there needs can be met. Our open-door policy means no matter the issues we always have a safe space and welcoming environment with familiar faces.
