Our Family Summer Activities have now been confirmed!

Spaces are limited and priority is given to Children/Families on Income Related Free School Meals.

Funding is limited and please ensure that if you register you can attend so that our children can make the most of this opportunity. Please do not book if you can not attend and please let us know at the earliest opportunity if you are no longer able to attend. We appreciate that plans change and life can be unpredictable but we want to give as many children the opportunity as possible.

Tuesdays - 12pm-4pm - Family Forest School - ****CALLISTER GARDENS, OXTON CH43 4UG****
Adventure, creativity, and muddy hands await...

Get ready for wild adventures and unforgettable memories in our action-packed Forest School sessions! Each week brings a new experience where kids can explore, play, create, and connect with nature — all while having tons of fun with friends and family. You'll even get the chance to prepare your own lunch over the fire, learning simple outdoor cooking skills that taste even better in the wild!

Campfire Challenges & Woodland Skills
Build your own shelter as a team, learn to safely chop kindling, and have a go at whittling wood! Master the art of fire lighting with flint and steel, then relax around the campfire to toast marshmallows and make delicious s’mores!

Try Something New Every Week!

Crafty Creations – Weave baskets, create nature mobiles, try nail string art or even make your own bow and arrows. Can you hit the target?

Beasts & Birds – Discover the magic of mini beasts! Build bug hotels, make your own wormery, and even try worm charming. Then create bird feeders with fruit and seeds – the birds will love you for it!

Nature Art – Get creative with clay making Tree Spirits and Mandalas, craft beeswax candles, and decorate pebbles with paint. Don’t forget to try our bubble station – who can make the biggest bubble?

Time to Chill?
Take a break in our peaceful garden, swing gently in the hammock, or relax in the cosy sensory tent.

Perfect for all ages and abilities – come as you are, leave with muddy boots, big smiles, and happy hearts. Families welcome to join in the fun!

Wednesdays - 11pm-3pm - Cooking and Crafts - St. Andrews, Noctorum
Mid-week magic is happening at HAF! Join us for our Wednesdays, where we will be serving up a fantastic mix of hands-on cooking and creative crafts. It’s the perfect place for kids to chop, stir, create, and connect.
We have an amazing line-up of kitchen creations on the menu, including:
Savoury Favourites: Master the art of making Sushi pots, comforting Noodle soup, Tuna pasta, and fun Mini Wrap wheels.
Sweet Treats: Get creative making desserts like Eton Mess, Rocky Road, Fruit kebabs, and Cheesecake!

Thursday 6th - Thursday 6th is about to get EXTREME! ?
We are thrilled to welcome the amazing Wheels Extreme to HAF! They’ll be taking over the day with their incredible alternative sports provision, bringing top-tier energy, awesome coaching, and pure entertainment to keep everyone on their toes. Mark your calendars, because this is going to be one of the biggest highlights of the programme!

Thursday 13th - Joytime at Vale Park
Mark your calendars for Thursday, 13th August, because we are taking our HAF program on an exciting road trip! We will be joining in on the legendary Joytime at Vale Park from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Get ready for a day packed with open-air music, dancing, games, and the famous talent show. Pack your sun cream, bring your best energy, and let's make some unforgettable summer memories together by the Mersey!

Thursday 20th - Manley Mere Day Trip
HAF on Tour: We’re heading to Manley Mere! Get your old clothes and towels ready, because on Thursday, 20th August, we are heading off on an epic day trip to Manley Mere Adventure Trail! We’ll be tackling their famous outdoor obstacle course, scrambling over rope bridges, balancing on beams, flying down zip lines, and navigating the muddy trails. It is going to be a brilliant day of teamwork, laughs, and getting thoroughly stuck into nature.
Important Note: A full change of clothes, a towel, and old shoes you don't mind getting muddy are absolutely essential for this trip!

Thursday 27th August 12pm-4pm - Family Fun Day - Venue TBC
Get Ready for the Ultimate FREE ENTRY Family Fun Day!
Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 27th, because we're pulling out all the stops for a day of non-stop excitement that the whole family will love – and it's completely FREE to attend! Get ready to bounce, play, and explore at our incredible Family Fun Day.

We're bringing the party with a DJ spinning awesome tunes, plus an epic Inflatable Assault Course and a classic Bouncy Castle for endless thrills. Fuel up at our delicious Food Stalls and browse unique finds at the Market Stalls. You'll find plenty of traditional fun with Hook a Duck and Tombola, and transform your look with vibrant Face Painting and sparkling Glitter Tattoos! You can even try the Stocks for a laugh!

You'll also have the chance to see a real Fire Engine, Police Van, and even an Ambulance up close!

Bring along Camp Chairs, Picnic Blankets and anything else to make your day more comfortable.

As an added bonus, anyone entitled to Free School Meals will receive a free burger or hotdog and a snack on the day!

It's going to be a day packed with laughter, delicious treats, and unforgettable memories. Don't miss out on the biggest family event of the summer!

Fridays 12pm-4pm - Family Afternoon Tea - St. Andrews - Noctorum
Our Communi-tea Afternoon Tea sees everyone coming together for a gorgeous feast of fresh Sandwich Fillings, Homemade Sausage Rolls and Quiche, Veg and Fruit platters and our famous Coleslaw and Sweet Treats. Come along for a wonderful afternoon of catching up with friends and family, enjoying delicious treats, and sharing a warm cup of tea. But this isn't just your average tea party, we have a few special surprises lined up to make the days extra memorable! From face painting for the kids to a spectacular magician, and even some karaoke for those feeling brave, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Bring your friends, your family, and your sweet tooth!
