Cancellation policy
Cancellation and Non-Attendance Policy The Cornerstone Healthy Holidays Club is funded through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme and all places are provided free of charge to eligible children. As places are funded and limited, it is important that bookings are only made when attendance is intended. Cancellation of Places If your child is unable to attend, parents/carers must notify the Cornerstone Healthy Holidays Club as soon as possible so that the place can be offered to another child on the waiting list. As places are provided free of charge through HAF funding, there are no refunds available for cancellations, missed sessions, or non-attendance. Non-Attendance Where a child is absent without notice, staff will attempt to contact the parent/carer to establish the reason for the absence and to ensure the child's welfare. Repeated non-attendance or failure to attend booked sessions without informing the club may result in: Future booked sessions being cancelled. The place being offered to another child. Reduced priority for future holiday club bookings. Exceptional Circumstances We understand that emergencies, illness, and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Parents/carers are encouraged to contact the club as soon as possible if their child cannot attend due to exceptional circumstances. Our Commitment The Cornerstone Healthy Holidays Club aims to ensure that funded places are used effectively and that as many children and families as possible can benefit from the programme. Prompt communication regarding cancellations helps us maximise attendance and provide opportunities to children on our waiting list.
My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
