Crawley into the Green
A summary
A day of coppicing led by experienced woodsman Tim Ford, there will be expert guidance on hazel coppicing, greenwood harvesting and an opportunity to gather some woodland resources for your Forest School group. You will also be able to use a traditional shave horse. Take time in the lovely Arundel woodland to learn new skills or build on existing knowledge, no prior coppicing experience is required and there will be a relaxed community vibe!
Light refreshments and a vegetarian soup lunch is also included in the price. Please note however we cannot cater for all dietary needs.

Crawley into the Green
Crawley into the Green are a small, not for profit Community Interest Company. Our vision is to make a Forest School experience a reality for as many of our Crawley children and teenagers as possible. We aim to provide affordable access to high-quality programmes for schools and other organisations, all provided by well-qualified, experienced Forest School practitioners. Our Home Ed group takes place in a private woodland in Ifield and is run by two fully qualified and experienced Forest School leaders, Liz Miles and Rachel Stevens.
