A summary

Through our provision at Cook Stars, children will enjoy hands on cooking sessions where they each prepare their own delicious dish from scratch - weighing, chopping, mixing and measuring ingredients safely with step-by-step guidance. They’ll learn about healthy eating, food hygiene and trying new flavours while building confidence, fine motor skills and teamwork in a fun, inclusive group setting. After cooking their first dish, they’ll take part in a relaxing craft activity and fun physical activity while their food bakes (if needed). Then they will cook up a sweet dish to take home with them, along with recipe cards so that they can recreate their dish with their families.

Making Cooking Child's Play!

Cook Stars Uckfield To Eastbourne West

I run Cook Stars sessions in my local area, where I combine my love of food, teaching and working with children. I’m passionate about helping children grow in confidence in the kitchen, try new foods and develop lifelong cooking skills in a fun, relaxed environment. At Cook Stars, we provide hands-on cooking classes, school clubs, holiday workshops and parties for children, with everything included so they can simply turn up and get cooking. Children each make their own dish from scratch, learn to weigh, chop, mix and measure, and then enjoy a craft or activity while their food cooks, before taking their creations home to share. Our sessions are friendly, inclusive and designed to support children’s wellbeing: they build independence, fine motor skills, teamwork and an understanding of healthy eating, all while having fun!
