Coneygarth Farm Holiday Club

We have cabins on a farm nursery and utilise the land we have including our private woodland ‘Camp Coneygarth’. We run our on private Holiday Club and the fuelled children will join them. There is no differentiation between our private children and fuelled children. Our activities will be the same activities we do each week and there will be no difference between activities for funded places and paid places.

It is a mixture of open choice play and structured activities:

Open choice play:
• Arts and crafts – They will have access to creative resources, paper, card, paints, colouring and more
• Socialising and communication – There is a chill out space in the cabins for children to socialise together, read, play board games, play with toys such as dinosaurs, cars and Lego as well as playing group games like table top football and the Nintendo Wii
• Outdoor play – Free access to the outside garden area. We try to make sure young people spend as much time outdoors as possible
• Sports – Cricket, racquet sports, giant board games, swing ball and football
• Animals – Due to being a working farm, children will learn how to care for guinea pigs, frogs, tortoises, goats, chickens, cows and more

Structured activities:

• Latest trends – We follow the latest trends at Coneygarth, often purchasing new resources to keep up. We in the past have carried out activities such as slime workshops
• Camp Coney – The holiday clubs often see us in the private woodland a short walk from our farm. This is where we take part in our Camp Coney and do games such as scavenger hunts, den building and hide and seek
• We often take long walks to the local park as well as the park in the neighbouring village
• We often plan in themed days such as Pirate days, Minecraft days or days centred around current events such as footballing days and Olympic days.
