What we'll do
When your child attends a ComputerXplorers holiday camp they will get to participate in creative computer based activities such as game design, animation and 3D printing for a full day. During our camp the children will participate in a variety of computer-based activities such as: * Video game design and coding * Robotics * Animation * Minecraft Coding The activities will be a combination of group and individual and each will result in a completed project. There are also lots of opportunities for relaxed free-play time away from the computer in our outdoor playground facilities on site. ComputerXplorers West Surrey
Preparing Children for the Future
ComputerXplorers delivers age appropriate computer based activities which encourage children to use the computers and software as a tool to create digital projects such as video games, animations and more. We aim to inspire children to be curious and explorative in their use of technology.
Details
Our clubs run from 9.30 till 3.30 each day. We provide a picnic style lunch. Please advise of any food allergies or requirements. There will be a balance of computer and non computer time for all children. If any child wants a break, they can have one. There will be fidget toys and other self-regulation equipment for any child to use if they are feeling overwhelmed.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Our objective is for all participants to create at least one project during each day with us, which will be shared with their families at the end of each day.
Aim 2
We want children to experience computer based activities which they have not seen before and as a result learn new skills.
