Clip n' Climb Northampton

The Camps are great fun and give all the participants the opportunity to try everything we have here at the centre. It starts at with an introduction, safety brief and group warm up. After this, the instructors will take them to undertake a range of activities: ROPED CLIMBING Roped climbing is climbing on higher walls and using a rope for protection if you fall and to lower the you back to the ground. You will be climbing our main wall, with over 60 ropes lines to choose from which goes up to 12.5 meters in high. ABSEILING We will be rigging up our abseil ledge and test your nerves going over the edge BOULDERING Bouldering is climbing without a rope in a dedicated bouldering area, up to 4.5m in height, where there is a continuous surface of large safety matting. Never bouldered before? Our friendly instructors will be on hand all day to introduce you to the wonderful world of bouldering! CAVING This is an awesome indoor caving system designed to simulate an outdoor cave in a safe environment. With over 50 metres of twisting and turning, clambering and tunnelling that’s both fun and challenging. Boulder squeezes, hidden chambers and the awesome ball pool sump are all waiting to be discovered in our unique underground world. GAMES AND CHALLENGES Can you complete all of our climbing challenges? PIZZA DINNER Pizza will be provided for each participant. If you have any dietary requirements please contact the centre at least 24 hrs before your session. THIS IS A STRUCTURED DAY OF ACTIVITIES AND PARTICIPANTS ARE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES BY ONE OF OUR FRIENDLY AND FULLY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS. These are fun sessions designed to get kids doing some climbing and having lots of fun! Depending on the group and their interests, we might cover some technical skills, or movement training.
