A summary

This is our 5th year of running a sports based program with enrichment activities for children aged 6-12 (inc School Year 7). The main physical activities are tennis, cricket, hockey, football and squash. Also, some team based enrichment games such as dodgeball and rounders are included as well as orienteering. We also have a bouncy castle to be used when the weather permits. Educational cooking activities also included. Healthy and nutritional food will be prepared and provided for lunch each day, along with snacks.

Nutritious Meals

As a sports based activity programme it is important to align with healthy eating.Our food options therefore include : • Jacket potatoes and 2 filling options (tuna, beans, cheese) and yoghurts and fruit • Chicken and pasta bake and salad with yoghurts and fruit • Chicken and rice and yoghurts and fruit • Beef and vegetarian lasagne with salad or vegetables • Make your own pizza (with oven cooked healthier chips and salad) and yoghurts and fruit We have an on-site kitchen to prepare and cook hot foods. We will provide healthy snacks at break times such as fruit, yogurts, cheese, nuts and others. We have secured, again for 2025, the services of the Head Chef from a Primary School in Peterborough who has invaluable experience in providing compliant healthy meals for children.
