A summary

Learn how to slow down, be present and witness. In this session we will practice circle ways with the humans and more-than-humans and learn to make ceremony to deepen our relationship with the place.

There are few things more basic than being together in a circle and being present. For me and those I work with, this creates a cornerstone of finding belonging and helps to create regulation in our bodies.

This workshop will explore being circle through practice and experience, and offer ways to try this with your groups. Trained in Way of Council and having practiced for many years we adapt and shift the practice to listen and be with different ages and needs.

I will share ways that we make ceremony with the land and place, with children and adults, in ways that are respectful to our heritage, and mindful of colonisation and cultural appropriation. This ceremony aspect will help you explore your relationship with
the places you practice- how you make those relationships, the language you use and the stories that emerge.
