Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of modern calligraphy with plenty of step-by-step support along the way.
We'll begin by getting to know the tools before easing into warm-up exercises to help you build confidence with strokes, pressure and letterforms.
Once you've learnt the basics, we'll move on to forming the modern calligraphy alphabet, practising letters, joining words and experimenting with festive greetings and elegant layouts.
Using a beautiful selection of colourful inks, you'll create a collection of unique Christmas cards, adding shimmering gold details and thoughtful finishing touches to make each design feel truly special.
Whether you're looking for a mindful afternoon, hoping to discover a new creative hobby, or simply want to make something beautifully handmade this festive season, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy a little creativity.
