Childrens YogaDance classes: 5-8 years

A summary
5-9 Year Olds : Primary Class - 2.30 - 3.00pm or 3.45 - 4.15pm
We do a warm up and some mindfulness excerzies and then we adventure on to a fun story, doing lots of yoga along the way. We do a short dance routine, some fun yoga games or some partner yoga excersizes and then we wind down with a meditation to integrate what we've learned in the class.
9-12 Year Olds : Tweens Class - 3.00 - 3.30pm or 4.30 - 5.00pm
We always start with a sharing circle to share our feelings from the week. We do some yoga games to warm up and then a mix of mindfulness exercizes, partner yoga excersizes and dance routines, followed by a relaxing meditation.
You can book classes in a half term block at a time. £30/ £36 for a 5 week/ 6 week block of classes.

About your mentor

LittleLight Yoga
I first trained in YogaDance with Young Yogis Academy in 2016 and then taught loads of kids from ages 2-13. It was so much fun! After that I studied an MA dance degree and I'm now looking foward to bringing even more dance into my classes, as well as some calming yoga games. I also have a background in community work and I'm a Mum and Stepmum to a large, lively family, including little kids, teens and grown-up ones too!
