A summary

Chelsea FC Foundation is offering a Holiday Activity and Food programme to young people in the Merstham area. Activities will be delivered by Chelsea FC Foundation’s qualified coaching staff and include football sessions and alternative activities such as multi sports, tennis, basketball, leadership and physical activity games along with workshop activities on topics including healthy living. Coaches will deliver fun and safe sessions designed to help each individual improve their technique while having fun and will include individual and team activities, with lots of small side games. Children will be spilt into age appropriate groups. The sessions will run from 10am - 2pm each day. Failure to attend booked sessions without contacting us directly, may result in all bookings being cancelled for the remainder of the holiday period. This will enable other child/ren on the waiting list to be offered the funded place(s). For further information about the camp, please contact us at foundation.enquiries@chelseafc.com We have a safe and secure site suitable for children with additional needs and disabilities. Please provide as much detail as possible on your booking form so we can do our best to support your child at camp. e.g. hearing impairment, autism, mental health needs. If your child has a higher staff ratio support at school, please let us know so we can ensure we have the correct staffing ratios at camp. Important Information

The camp will take place on the 3rd 4th 5th August at Merstham Park School, Taynton Drive, Redhill RH1 3PU Activity time: 10am - 2pm (please arrive 9:30am for registration). Please arrive via the Community Entrance. For ALL Chelsea FC Foundation HAF camps: Participants must arrive changed and ready to play. Please bring trainers and football boots (if you have them). Shin pads are advisable. If your child is unable to attend the camp please ensure you contact us at least 1 day before the activity they are booked on so we can cancel their space and release it to another child on our waiting list. Chelsea Foundation’s youth inclusion projects are a collective of positive diversionary projects working in collaboration with several partners including the Premier League. Chelsea Foundation aims to engage young people from all walks of life, particularly those within deprived areas using the power of football to engage in positive activities within their local communities.

Learning aims

Aim 1

Participants will have access to other Chelsea FC Foundation Youth Inclusion provisions such as the Premier League programme, and competitive opportunities.

Aim 2

Participants will experience educational workshops and challenges promoting healthy eating, mental wellbeing and resilience, encouraging positive lifestyle behaviours.
